This Course will provide a combination of different plugins, simulating natural dynamic processes, that can help you build your own organic structure while developing your grasshopper skills. The material is split into 3 parts with approximately 5 minutes lessons, so that the material is easy to follow. Together with creative home tasks, and short quiz questions this course will help you to discover grasshopper in unusual way and build your own method. Upon completing the course, you will know how to build complex fluid forms using Grasshopper, work with NURBS, meshes, agents, and biomorphic shapes. The course also provides applied skills for architectural modelling in the Grasshopper.

Are there any course requirements or prerequisites?

Basic knowledge of Grasshopper commands and its interface, as well as familiarity with the Rhino interface, is necessary. Specifically, you should know how to open Rhino and Grasshopper, input geometry from Rhino into Grasshopper, and build basic algorithms.

Nataly Khadziakova (Nemkova)

Nataly Khadziakova is an architect and landscape urbanist. She has a strong interest in interactive environments and new approaches to architecture. Her works have been marked at international competitions, including YAC and Leonardo.

Nataly holds an MSc from the Architectural Association, Landscape Urbanism program, then worked for the international office Gustafson-Porter+Bowman. She is Speaker at the AA symposium Design Agency within Earth Systems, co-founder of IM-A Studio and ST+ARTS resident. Also Nataly has taught at UCL Bartlett B-Pro, Architectural Association, Warsaw University of Technology, Digital Futures, Yak Tak and EASA.
