Modeling a three-stone ring. Creating settings for Cushion and Pear stones. Crafting prongs using SubDiv and shaping the shank with NURBS.

Modeling an Asscher Cut Ring with Tapered Baguettes. This exercise teaches how to create a set of settings and integrate them with the shank.

Modeling a signet ring with a crest. Learning to model this type of relief with SubDiv.

Module 7
Modeling earrings and studying types of earring backs (English, French, and plate snap closures).

Module 8
Modeling a bangle bracelet with a box clasp and Baraka chain. Learning to calculate bracelet size, create an opening mechanism, and explore the parameters of two types of clasps.

Module 9
Custom project with the teacher. Together, we’ll model a piece of jewelry, moving from sketch or photo to files ready for 3D printing.

Lessons
Each session includes a theory segment and a practical segment, followed by a review of the homework. Homework is assigned individually based on the Student’s professional interests, allowing for deeper exploration into the specific area of 3D modeling you wish to pursue.
Learning takes place through a specialized platform that enables the instructor to view the Student’s screen and monitor task accuracy.
Upon course completion, you’ll receive an official Rhinoceros Jewelry Design certificate from an Authorized McNeel Training Center.
